Space Menace is a sci-fi real-time strategy and space combat game on Steam, developed and published by Only4Gamers. Players take the role of a space captain who begins with a single ship and builds a fleet while chasing fortune and influence across the stars.

How the Game Plays

Combat takes place in top-down 2D battles, and the game blends strategy, tactics, and resource management. There are several ways to make progress: freelance missions pay for completed work, while defeating other ships and collecting salvage offers a second route to income. Earnings go toward expanding the fleet with new weapons, utilities, and strike craft, and decisions made along the way draw either the favor or the scorn of the galaxy's powerful factions.

Deadshot is a retro-styled first-person shooter for Windows PC, available on Steam. You play as an army soldier who wakes into a world where everyone has either become a mutant or died, then sets out to find out what happened and put a stop to it.

How it plays

The game leans on old-school shooting rather than modern set pieces. The route runs through tunnels, laboratories, buildings, and storage areas, with secrets to uncover and items that unlock the way forward. The campaign is split into three chapters of six levels each, and players have seven weapons and five attachments to work with. The soundtrack comes from White Eyes, Noxtromo, and Torturerr.

Crystal Crisis is a competitive tile-matching puzzle game on Steam, developed and published by Nicalis and originally released on July 31, 2019. It is built like a one-on-one fighting game, except the fighting happens on a puzzle grid.

A puzzle fighter with a crossover roster

Two players drop pairs of coloured crystals into a tall field and clear them by matching colours: touching a crystal with a spark crystal of the same colour removes the connected group and sends countdown blocks to the opponent's side. Combos fill a Burst gauge that unlocks each character's own attack and defensive moves, and the roster of 20 fighters includes Quote and Curly Brace from Cave Story, Isaac from The Binding of Isaac, Astro Boy, and Black Jack.

Squad is a tactical first-person shooter on Steam from developer Offworld, released in September 2020. Two teams of 50 players fight across large maps where voice communication, squad roles, and combined-arms coordination matter more than individual aim. Players fill roles such as rifleman, medic, squad leader, or vehicle crew, with base building, 13 factions, and 24 maps in the mix. A player-versus-environment mode called Fireteam, added with Update 10.1, is aimed at players who would rather fight alongside a smaller group.
